98 Vert starter question
Hi guys,
Is there any way to tighten the electric leads that attaches to the bendix without removing the starter? When I attempt to start the car, I get a loud click and a blue spark from one of the wires.

You might be able to snake a socket with a swivel and long extension to tighten up the wires, sometimes the problem is the insulator end piece of the solenoid has been degraded by years of engine heat as well. Don't forget to disconnect your battery when your trying to tighten those connections. Good Luck
