Default Wires / Plugs for Kooks Headers

I've been searching the forums and can't seem to get a definitive answer on what is the best wires to use with Kooks headers and spark plugs with a mild cam.
2004 Corvette LS1 - I've seen people use GM performance red wires and Taylor wires but I don't know if the Kooks will create heat that will require a different wire. Looking at NGK plugs versus the AC Delco plugs.

What are you guys using?

Thanks,

I use the GMPP red wires with AC Delco plugs and the factory heat shields with my TSP headers. If anything the Kooks should be further away from the wires, being an overall better design...

I have kooks full headers and been using the stock red wires from gm. Installed these in 2010. must of taKen them off 20 times dealing with spark plug issues min over the past 8 yrs. and their still kicking good. i'm running around 25lbs of boost. Their the only ones i'll ever use. Never had 1 wire touch a head. no heat problems what so ever and no heat shields.

As mentioned above the GMPP red wires and the stock head range AC/Delco iridium spark plugs. You don't have to think about a one range colder plug unless you are past 400 rwhp and/or running a power adder (blower, turbo or nitrous, If you would like you can use the spark plug wire sleeves to protect the wires. The very best are the DEI Titanium one in either 6" or 8" lengths.
