Default 02 Z06 has lean error code

Dealer put on a data recorder because when I brought it in they said there was nothing wrong. Last night in the rain the car would not break the tires loose in first gear. Also the traction control does not work most of the time. Saddly enough when they removed the data recorder the very next day the check engine light came on and it was the same error code P0174h. It seems to me that this should be a easy problem for the dealer to find. They did say that my open air box could cause this problem but I beleive that has nothing to do with my tracton control. I guess time to take to a new dealer. Any other suggestions are welcome

You mentioned your traction control is not working, but you weren't able to break traction in the rain. Sounds like it was working?

The '02 Z06's seem to run very lean, so the open box probably made it worse. Do you have access to AutoTap or something similar? You could take some measurements and see where your long term fuel trim values are. Staying with the open intake, you can correct the air fuel ratio via various computer tuning options.

You should check for leaks in the intake system, just in case air is getting in behind the MAF.
