New Oem window regulator bogs down when door panel put back on

Installed a new oem at delco window regulator and motor. Runs smooth until I put the door panel back on and then the motor bogs down and the glass comes up rather slowly. I've tried to adjust the lower left and lower right bolts for glass tilt adjustment but it doesn't seem to make much difference. (I even exchanged the part for a different one thinking the motor was defective. Same result.) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is there an adjustment that I'm missing? Thanks.

try having the motor running, voltage up things move better

Thanks. I tried that too. Other side was replaced recently by a shop and works perfectly. I can't figure out what I'm missing. Everything looks to be in order.
