Default 2001 Z06 info help

I have a 2001 Z06 engine I'm installing in a restomod. Id like to clean up the engine some. I noticed a tube that connects to the front of the intake right behind the throttle body and runs onto the drivers side and into a small plastic canister.. From the canister is a flexible line to the back of the block. I believe its for emissions. Can I disconnect it at the manifold and plug it as I won't be hooking it up to anything? Thanks for any help.

Try this link. Your description sounds like it could be the steam vent tube. If so it needs to stay.

Feeder82, That's it. Thanks. I can disconnect it at the manifold and block that off?
