Drivers side window switch swap????

Can you replace a non memory package window switch with a memory package switch? The connector looks the same. The memory package switches are cheaper and more available it seems.

I believe that they are compatible. If I recall correctly, the additional wires that would connect the memory related buttons are not in the door harness to the door control module.

Did you get it? Did it work? I need a new driver's side power window switch for my C5 and you are right, the version with the seat memory settings is far less expensive than the one without.

I swapped the switch out back in November. Memory for non memory controller. Only problem I have now is that the car has a habit of moving seats and mirrors to the saved positions for setting 1&2. In other words I installed the memory switch and got memory features..
