New to me 2000 Convertible with 53k.
I notice a very slight squeaking from the rear end while driving, if the suspension is working.
Further confirmation of the same noise in the garage if I push down to compress the suspension.
Any idea what it could be?
Also may be upper control arm bushings. Spay some oil on the bushings and see if squeak goes away.. That's not a fix. If the squeak goes away, you need to replace the bushings. I've never done it but looks like a fairly easy job.

I did my end links a couple of weeks ago. It took about an hour to do all four. My bushings were find with 49k on the car.

Good suggestions so far, but I'll add that when I had a rear squeak whenever the suspension traveled, it turned out to be the exhaust hanger. (the one right behind the bumper) The rubber pad had worn off, and it was going metal to metal.

I have have the hanger squeak. There are two springs that attach to the mid section of the exhaust whic now squeak. I tried spraying silicone spray on the springs and that lasted about 5 minutes. Any ldeas?
