So I replaced my hazard switch this weekend since I had problems with the turn signal failing sometimes. I got an AC Delco replacement switch part# 10359036. The old switch had GM part# 10406627 and my car is an -02 EU car. After the install my turn lights hyperflash but the hazards work fine.
This is kind of puzzling to me since all I did was replace the switch module, are the modules different between EU and US, did I get a "US" spec replacement and that is why it's hyperflashing?
Hello Niklas, this CF is being a pain in the azz uploading info!!!
Hazard Emergency Flasher Switch
Current GM part no: 10406627
Fits 1997-2004 C5 Corvette VD1 European Export.
Hello Niklas, I apologize for the Mish-Mash thread posting but the CF had issues uploading. The switch you installed is NOT configured for the EU Export C5… You need to get a P/N 10406627 that supports the “VD1” configuration. The company I work for has a facility in southern Germany and I have some coworkers there that own C5’s and every year, when I travel to this facility for meetings, I get their C5 parts “wish list” of part I need to bring with me! For my service, I get a C5 to run the Autobahn!!! Cheers,
