I had the engine and brakes replaced on my 2002 C5. All is well except a new sound other than the typical Corvette sounds we've gotten used to.
I hear a medium loud creaking, or binding noise from the right rear. It sounds like the creaking of the masts on a large sail boat. It only lasts a hot minute then goes away. It only happens on 3 occasions:
1. Making a left or right turn from dead stop.
2. Accelerating away from a stop.
3. Braking to come to a stop.
The car sounds crappy but the bigger worry is that it may indicate some major fault. Any ideas appreciated.
