I am wondering what it would take to put a LS3 engine into my Z06.

Lots of threads out there on what's required to make it happen. It's not at all difficult, just tedious as there are lots of little details that go into putting a Gen 4 LS engine into a Gen 3 chassis. It's all pretty well covered in my build thread linked above. Be sure to post up your progress as you go!
