2004 Double din Radio Install
i have a 2004 Corvette with Shale interior..do they sell the aftermarket double din dash kit in the shale color
i only see black online. Thank you..I am new to the Forum

Just paint it Medium Dark Neutral and a couple of coats of matte.

Just my 2 cents........
Wear vinyl gloves to prevent body oils from sticking to the plastic and ruining your paints.
I always clean the plastic with denatured alcohol, then spray it with an adhesion promoter before spraying the color coats.
Follow the drying time between coats that is listed on the paint can. Use light coats of color, do not try to get it done in one coat.
Once the color coating is done let it dry for the recommended time and they use a satin clear coat spray.
I try to do all the coatings from the same company as they are more likely to be designed to work with their products.

It’s all good brother, I wasn’t offended at all. The only thing I would add is that I used satin finish on my OEM bezel and matte finish on my DD bezel and I think the matte finish matches the other interior pieces much better.
