power telescope column how far out??

power telescope column how far out??
It may be that I'm going crazy but my column dosen't seem to be coming out as far as it did.. Maybe one and a half inches...

Mine only comes out a few inches to say the most. I do wish it would telescope 2 inches further, but Hey. I am not complaining.
Sorry if this does not answer your question. Mine only telescopes a few inches at max. I have a 2001.

Two weeks after I got my car, I took the car to the dealership to fix the telescopic steering because it'd only move an inch or so.
A few minutes later, the tech came out and told me it needed reseting. He said if it happened again to just tap the adjust button about six times in the same direction. It hasn't happened again, but I've heard other people say that the procedure works.

I didn't realize it, but my column was only coming out half way. I tried the reset procedure and it worked.
