Default Manual Shifter Linkage

Are the C5 and C6 shifter linkage the same from the bottom box to the transmission the same? I have a low milage linkage from a C6 ZR-1 that I would like to put good U joints on.

It may be close to where the roll pin will go into the front case shaft, but it may be too short to get completely on the shift box shaft. The C6 torque tube length changed over the years. 09+ being longer I believe.

You could always cut/shorten/lengthen the C6 linkage as needed if you have the drivetrain out of your C5. I chopped the rear u-joint off my C5 linkage and welded on a no-slop joint designed for a steering shaft that really tightened up the shift feel.

c6 linkage is longer by an inch and a half or so, I have seen it cut and rewelded and that will work
