Default Rear hatch struts weak.

On my A/E, rear hatch cylinders are original and are very difficult to get a finger Under to raise. Are these units the same as on my SSR made by Stabilus called Lift-O-Mat. Last ones I bought from O'Reillys Auto Parts were identical to to OEM I replaced and were very reasonable. Anyone have a part number or suggestion on a fix. Thx.

Cool, you have a SSR too. Just go to your local GM store and tell them what you need. They are there to help. Post a pic of your SSR. Cheers, Rob

Dont stress, it is never winter driven, lol.

Rob,
Hope these pics makes you feel warmer. See my WWT post on C-5 For Sale forum. You have one, so you know what it's like. Way rarer than Corvette.

There was a foot of snow on this driveway before I came in to watch BJ. Can't wait for spring!

Favorite spot on Cruise night. Between 2 Corvette buddies.

Here are the ones I used for my trunk and the convertible tonneau lid. They are perfect.
