Default Fresh Engine oil leak?

I just finished up an install, everything new from the clutch forward. I have only put 30 miles on it and have a fairly good oil leak. I just crawled under and the under mounting bolt head on the stater has oil on it, this being the high point as far as I can tell and the most forward. Oils obviously on the rear bottom of the pan and rolling back to the headers from driving. On the passenger side there is oil on the rear corner pan bolt head and a little on the filter but most the oil sets seater and an the drivers side. I had hoped was the crank sensor being that I had replaced the o ring on it but real hate to say I think it’s the main seal. Can you inspect with a scope if you remove the plastic covers on either side I’d the bell housing? Any other thoughts or ideas would be appreciated before I start tearing into it.
Thx

Get some oil dye. That should help find the area of the leak.

This is exactly what I have on my 2004 C5 automatic.

It may be coming from 2 sources. One was the oil pressure sensor (on top of the engine, behind the manifold). It still worked but was leaking a lot. Replaced that and reduced the leak by half. My guess is the rear seal cover is leaking also. Got everything except a transmission jack. Also waiting for warmer weather....

Best is to clean all the oil off with just paper towels. Then it is easy to see the leak.

Also check under the PCV valve for oil leaking from the rubber hose that the valve plugs into as the oil can travel down the front of the engine and drip off the oil pan and other parts down there.
