Al circuits energize, no crank
car drove fine. Parked overnight. Next morning, no crank.
When I turned the key, everything energizes like it should, security light flashed, etc.
Makes all the right sounds and flashes all the right lights.
Column lock dis/reengages at the appropriate time

Engine still would not crank, no click from the starter..
Removed and charged the battery overnight. Same behavior
Replaced the clutch switch. No change.
Fuses and relays appear to be good.
All other systems (lights, radio, hvac, wipers, windows, gauges ,etc) work as expected.
Codes:
B2283H, B2285H, and U1064H from RDCM
B2282H, B2284H, and U1064H from LDCM
And the obligatory 3 from the TCS system.
C1214HC, C1242H, and C1288H
At first, I thought perhaps the starter pinion was stuck in the flywheel.
Heres the odd part: Even in Neutral, cannot push the car.
My warped logic says sven with a stuck pinion, if the clutch was disengaged, the engine should be disconnected from the drivetrain, so the wheels should turn, regardless of the pinion position.
When I move the shifter, it feels normal.
If I stand outside the car, lean in and shift, I can hear the linkage moving at the tranny.
Car still will not roll. (E-brake is off)
Car is on the street, passenger side to the curb. Given the gutter is full of water, not really in a position where I can get under it to whack the starter ...I dont really want to roll in the water with ambient temps as low as they are
Double slap - because the car won’t roll, no towing company will touch it, so I cant get it to the dealer.
Any ideas?
I dropped the car after hours, and "Will not roll" was in the writeup I did for them. I closed with "Diagnose and advise"
Service dept called Tue with the 'bad starter" diagnosis.
I had them check the clutch/PP/TOB/forks when they did the clutch slave cyl. a few months ago - they said those were all fine, and oh by the way, you have a Z06 clutch ***'y in there... Given I don't track/race/power launch, no particular reason why those parts would not still be OK
The original thought of 'starter pinion being was stuck in the extended postition and and engaged the flywheel, hangs up the works'
still defies 'clutch is disengaged, car should move'..unless there is some electronic voodoo telling the computer the trans it is in gear...
But I would also think if it were, then a code would be set....
I know there are holes in that that theory, but during the call, service didn't mention any diagnostic / separate fix, nor have they called with a secondary diagnosis.
OTOH, I haven't gotten the callback to pick it up, but they also know Sat is the next opportunity I'll have to do so.
I'll do another follow up when I hear from them.
No mention of the “no roll” in the mechanics notes or on the RO.
Both the vette service writer and the vette mechanic were already gone for the day ... so no further info available.
It starts and it goes like normal, so I’m not going to complain
