Default Zweyer Wheel update! (pics inside)

I would like to thank all of you that participated on our wheel poll and helped us learn better what you guys where looking for in alloy wheels. I must say that response was overwhelmingly positive, many of you taking your time to really write detailed comments about the subject :)

As you may recall, we started out offering the Forged 1-pc wheel (called Zweyer Shark); this wheel is still in development and will be available tentatively in 2-3 months. Our first Zweyer offering however is called the Zweyer Wolf… Here are some of the features:

- 3pc construction
- Custom finishes
- European manufactured
- Custom sizes/offsets etc

This is an “industrial” looking 5 spoke wheel... pretty aggressive and definitively different :D

We now have 18x9.5 fronts and 19x11 rears… pricing for a set like this (no tires) is $2804! We where able to keep the price well below the price range that most of asked for in the poll.

As a token of appreciation, we will offer a limited time discount (for orders placed before Nov 31st 2002) a $200 gift certificate towards the purchase of tires to go with the Zweyer wheels you order!!! This offer is only valid for those who participate in our online poll.

Good news for C3 and C4 owners!!! This wheel will also be available for your vehicles at custom sizes. Please contact me for more information (max@edgeracing.com)

The following are some teaser pictures, I will post more pictures as soon as they become available to me (we just got these in):

Please contact me with any questions

Is 19x11 a typo?

18x11 would be more popular, and a much better fit for an agressive performance driveability standpoint.........

No typo, 19x11 are here. 18x11 available of course, a set of 18x9.5 and 18x11 would be $2724 (same offer as above)

The current set can be mated with 265/35ZR18 fronts and 295/30ZR19 rears :)

:D

I had initially participated in your poll, when you first came on board the forum and few months ago, but did not get a response.... :(

it is good that you are offering 19"/18" combos... seems like everyone has 18" rims and 17" rims, especially all these ricers. These little Hondas have 18" as if they were going out of style..

The vette is a much bigger car, and needs a bigger rim, aesthetically speaking.

Do you have any pics of the wheel you are showing? Any pics of the Zweyer Shark or Wolf? Couldn't find them on your webpage. What type of finishes are available?

thanks Max

OK, ladies and gents… here are some better pictures.

As far as other finishes, you can currently choose between platinum silver (shown), anthracite, gold, black, white and red at no charge. Custom colors available at approx. $16 per wheel.

Please note that the wheels in this vehicle have a different offset compared to the Corvette so your wheels will be actually deeper dished.

Let me know if you have any questions :D

indypace78:
Those have the platinum silver center (+ clear coat) and mirror polished lip.
The forged ones will be available in a few months :)

Glad you guys liked them  let me know if you have any other questions!

Honestly I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping for something really different. These look a lot like models from Fikse, Kinesis, Simmons plus others. Big, wide 5-spokes. Although each have minor differences, it would be hard to tell them apart from 20+ feet away.

BUT..3-piece forged 18x9.5 and 19x11's for under $3K? Man, that's a deal and a half.

I didn't notice an 18x12 on your website. Is this size available?

ok, the real question is (unless i just missed it) will the stock air
sensors fit?? And we need a good detailed picture of the wheels on a C5!

Also, your web sight doesn't list a chevy corvette as a gallery option??
