Headlights only retracting on high beam??
Hi all! I just became a first time corvette owner a couple weeks ago. 2000 C5 coupe with 28k miles. This forum is great, and has helped me a ton already with past threads. Today I replaced all 4 headlight bulbs with Lasfit 9005 and 9006 bulbs. But now the headlights only retract with the high beams on, or if I switch to high beams after turning them off on low beam setting. Any thoughts on what the problem is? I know this is a much discussed topic, but I've not been able to dig up an answer to this one yet. Sorry if it's here but I missed it!

sounds like the same issue had going to HIDs and needing to add a relay to get the lights to behave properly

IIRC, you need to add a resistor (100w, 5ohm?) to make the headlights retract. This is due to the LED headlamps.
