Speedometer stuck in kph
I'm trying to sell my 2001 convertible. The DIC buttons have been non-operational for a while now. It's got the Canadian cluster, so when I changed the battery, it reset to showing the speed in kilometers. I got used to it But now I've had two dealers refuse to make an offer on the car because it can't show mph or mileage.
Is there any way to reset the speedometer to mph without going to the hassle and expense of fixing the DIC buttons?

If you tried the dic switches and they dont work, then I dont think there is any other way. I tried setting mine with a tech 2 because my dic switches do not work and I could not. The part f the cluster that has the DIC electronics in it is fried. 200.00 for a new cluster with hud and Dic switches at a wrecking yard. another 125 at the speedometer shop to set the mileage
