As post states. I picked my 99 Vette a convertible with 6 speed trans up from the shop that installed my BTR cam and new ls6 manifold. After I got it and drove a few feet the display showed traction control warming. I was told it wil go off from the shop after I drive for a bit but it never did. After driving for 15-20 minutes the light comes on the dash and it read service stability system. It has never given me these type of issues. Once I turn off the car, light is off and it’s fine. Drive a few ft and it does it all over again. Thank you in advance
Low battery is what everybody told me too. Clear the messages off your dash. Take the car out on a back road, slam on the brakes at about 60 a couple times. It frees up the IBCM piston. That worked for me. Haven't had the message since. Now I do that ocassionaly to exercise that system. Can't hurt to try it.
Wouldn’t the battery be charged enough to not cause issues if I had daily driven it for a few weeks without any low battery starting problems ? I have the battery out now for winter storage and it goes in the trickle charger in my shop every 3-4 weeks for the day.
Low battery causes all sorts of warnings. But I was getting the same warnings when I started out with the wheels turned. Someone else mentioned that and it seemed to be true.
