C5 Seat Control Switch LH

Has anyone figured out a workaround for this this part ? They seem to be somewhat hard to get and expensive. Just got the car and it has a passenger side switch installed on the drivers side so it works but backwards. Or even if someone has a defective switch I would like to purchase it.

The seat control switch assembly is the same on the sport seats for both sides. I have one available for $100 shipped if you are interested.

Actually I dont think so. My drivers seat works backwards. Would you happen to have the plastic seat switch trim that covers the switch?

Part numbers show it is the same for both sides.
If it is truly working backwards then there is something else wrong. The switch sends a signal to a control box under the seat that actuates the motors for the desired movement. There could be a failure in the control or wiring harness.
