Default Scratch marks in the clear coat

Hello Everyone,
I am a new member and a proud owner of an 04 z06 le mans. This is my second vette so far.
The car is in excellent condition except it looks like a cat slept on it or someone used those cheap car washes to clean it.
The paint is in great condition but has surface scratches in the clear coat.
Has anyone used the sonax cutmax on a C5?
Thanks

If you using a DA then any compound would help the problem. If by hand, well good luck.

That one may be a bit too harsh for what you described but it can work. Use a random orbit polisher thou, just a rotary could be fine as well but not ideal, by hand is really labor intensive and you gotta have technique so I just wouldn't recommend even trying to do it by hand.

After removing badges and repairing rock chips I used a variable speed buffer and some wizards products to polish out thre clear.... i found it very durable and with extreme caution was able to remove all the
"Shadow " and evidence of repairs... buffing out surface scratches should not be a problem.... there is a section on car detailing and care for further help...

Need pictures of the paint scratches to better give you an idea about how to correct.

A buddy of mine and I have been working on a 2000 vert that was so badly beaten that it took wet sanding to get the scratches out then correction with a couple of products. The panels that have been completed so far are just like they came off the assembly line.
We are using Menzerna and Sonax products to get it looking right.
