I unplugged the wires that went to this one time and ever since then I get service active handling message pop up and cant be cleared away. It did not do this before I touched that damn connector. I've searched but haven't seen anything about what it's called. I realize that the ebcm controls the active handling system, but theres a small amount of brake fluid that seems to keep appearing inside the connector for this sensor. Figured I'd see if I can replace it and see what happens.
pic is showing ok ne end of the wire, I unplugged the sensor end. I did check the pins in the sensor and none are bent/broken.
You know, I checked the terminal in the end of the connector, but didnt even cross my mind to check the actual wire that crimps into the terminal end. Good call, I'll check that first thing when I get back in to work on it.
You haven't checked the codes yet? Put the car into On Board Diagnostic Mode and write down all of the codes you see. You can find info on how to do that by using the search function.
What year car do you have? There are several systems depending on what year the car was produced.

It's a 2002 base
I didnt get any codes or lights come on before I unplugged that sensor, as soon as I did that it comes on everytime I start the car and comes back on immediately after I clear it. The sensor also leaks brake fluid from inside where the pins are.
