Default serpentine belt

What are your thoughts between the following serpentine belt ?
  1. Bando
  2. GATES
  3. DAYCO
  4. CONTINENTAL
Choose your best and include part numbers if you can.
i have 2001 Ls1 base

I am currently swapping radiators and while waiting for it to show and alreaded have new hoses to set up, I may as well do the serpentine belt since its now due.
I think I have either Dayco or Bando cant remember and belt is too worn to see name.

I drive hard and I also daily my car.

Thank you!

I was at Sebring this past weekend when the Corvette team changed the alternator (I think) in the rear of the #4 car and they had a bunch of Gates belts laying around. I have always heard good things about Gates but I personally have the Goodyear Gaterback's on mine. I think they are about 5 years old now. They are now Continental Elite.

I know this will sound crazy to the norm but the best belt I've had in my car so far has been the run-of-the-mill Duralast replacements at Autozone. It's been on my car for five years now, I drive it year round rain, snow, or shine, and not had any major squealing or squeaks out of it. I can't remember the part # off the top of my head but I'm sure it's with my receipts in my files.

Same here. Continental Elite aka Gaterback for me. I also got the same for the AC belt, and all pulleys I went with Continental. I've had zero squeaks since, and I did this about 5k miles ago.

Going with continental 4060798 aka gaterback.

I heard that bando was used for the c6zr1 and the camaro zl1 which was interesting.

Got the gates a few months ago .. It's fine. The tensioner pulleys like to be opened and greased every couple few years , now is an opportune time

installed this one and was pretty tired at the time, hope i got it on right lol. Anyways this belt seemed a bit longer than the Gates that i had on. Perhaps the Gates shrunk a bit.
