Default Oreilly auto parts ignition key switch!!!
I bought an ignition key switch for my 2002 C5 hatch and I was wondering if it will work. Doesn’t have the lil chip thingy on the keys but has the two wires that are on the front. I have a tech2 so I was hoping I can get going with this ignition. Car runs but ignition is DEFINITELY a problem. Car MIL light sometimes doesn’t work and get security code b0367.

That looks like a C4 switch....

Yep that's for a C4 not a C5.

yea I knew something wasn’t right. Lol I got it from oreilly’s and I even looked online and it shows on their systems that it’s for a C5 but nope.... doesn’t look the same at at
