Basket Case
I am a 1st time Corvette owner and I am finding out that the C5 I bought as a project car has it's problems. I have found in my short time on this forum that there is a great deal of information that is very useful! I have a question about the "approach" fuse in the fuse box. I believe it is fuse #2 on my car. When I first got the car I had to sync my remotes to the car and everything seemed to be working, hatch nd door locks and even the unlocking of the car when I was within a certain distance. Then a couple days later I decided to inspect all the fuses and I noticed two fuses were pulled out and lying in the fuse box. One of which was the horn fuse and I found out quickly why it was pulled THE DAMN THING STAYS ON! I think I have that figured out and parts are on order. The second one was the "approach" fuse per the fuse diagram. I inserted the fuse and nothing jumped out at me at first but a little while later I noticed the FOB's stopped work and will not sync as before. Has anyone else came across this?
