Default Bolt missing, minor crack near oil filter

I was changing my oil today and noticed a bolt is missing here and there's what looks to be a minor crack in this casing... Any ideas how the bolt would come loose and how bad this is?

Thanks.

I think that bolt is to hold the factory exhaust and it looks like you have headers which don't mount up in that location so no big deal, you can take the other bolt out if you want... hard to tell from the pic but are you sure it's a crack or is it a casting mark?

I agree on both. The bolt is not needed, and that looks like casting flash to me, not a crack

Thanks guys! The closer I looked at it the more it looked like a casting mark. What a relief...

yes those 2 bolts is where a bracket goes that the factory exhaust bolts to..since the bracket is gone you don't need the bolts.

that piece is part of the bellhousing and is a cover for the flywheel. even if that was a crack it wouldn't be a big deal.
