Default How Doty remove shift **** on my z06

Anyone know how to remove the stock shift **** on my Z06 CE. I’m replacing it and don’t want to ruin anything. Thanks!!!!!

gently pry off the plastic piece that has the shift pattern on it. underneath is a key. pry that out and then the **** will come off. MGW video instructions below.
