traction control problem

traction control problem
I'm hoping someone could help me with my 2000 C5 . When I start the car everything is fine and the traction control will turn on and off. With in a few minutes or about a mile of driving I get a message , service traction control and it will not operate. If I turn the car off and restart it's usually off again but comes back on in a minute or so.
The codes that I'm getting are 28-TCS 1243 and 1295 and BO-RFA U1096, U1064,U1016 All the codes are H
I also have a issue with my backup lights not working. I'm thinking the code 28-TCS 1295 may be connected? If you could give me any advice as to what is wrong or what steps I should take I would be very thankful.
