Sway Bar thump

I jacked up the rear of the Vette to try to find out the cause of thump noise I was hearing because it was. Driving me crazy. I went over all the bolts that I could get too and found the right side swap bar needed some tightening. Noise gone.

its good when you find a simple solution.

I replaced all the front and rear sway bar end links and my suspension is quiet as a mouse too.

It only adds to the car's enjoyment

Use teflon tape under the bushings

I changed out the stock sway bars with Z51 bars and wrapped the bars under the bushings with teflon plumbers tape. About 3 layers under each bushing. No squeaks or thuds for about 10 years.
You might want to try it..
