What cubic inches do you get with the 4.125 bore and 4.00 crank?

It's winter, the weather SUCKS in the Northeast and I have too much time on my hands right now because I'm thinking about having Cartek upgrade me to a 434Cid when the new 4.155 Darton sleeve comes out,or if I can sell or trade my 4.00 crank and get a 4.125 I'll have a 447Cid and almost a perfectly square motor, combined with a solid roller set up this would be one EVIL LS-1!!!!

Actually a 4.125 bore X 4.125 stroke 441Cid sounds even better,I'll be on the phone with Cartek tomorrow, now if I can only find someone to make a stronger rear end casing and heavy duty driveline parts I'll be all set.

WOW Mike that sounds like a sick set-up. Will that be the biggest CI you can get. I thought a 436ci was the biggest. What kinda of specs are we looking at with a motor like that? Good Luck in your new project.

Well you can go to 461!!! At least when the 4.155 bore comes out, which both Ed@LPE and Dave@Cartek should be very soon. I am gonig with a 4.155 bore and 4.125 stroke for a 447. The 461 is with the 4.25 stroke. :yesnod:

Mark,I spoke to Julio and Dave yesterday,I'm staying with the 415.Julio has a few tricks up his sleeve, they'll be trying some new stuff out on my car soon. The limiting factor on the bigger motors over 427Cid is the heads and the LS-6 intake.I can't afford C5R heads and a custom intake right now so it's not worth going bigger, the motor will be choked.

That looks like the same intake Cartek has,if it is,the runners are smaller than the port size on my LS-6 heads and there's not enough material to open the intake runners up to match the heads.Do you know if the company that makes that intake can make it with larger runners?
