Default Recently raised my lowered '98

I just recently bought a '98 and it was lowered using the bolts on the mono-springs. It rode like a low rider (real rough) and bottomed out a lot. I raised it back up by screwing the bolts on the springs and rides like a regular corvette. Do I have to get alignment redone and do the bolts have bushings or rubber caps on them, I noticed a tape like material on the front bolts but none on the rear ones.

You need a alignment... wait a week for it to settle again though.

I recently raised my car back up, too. Way too much scraping and the ride was unbearable. The rear bolts have bushings top and bottom, and the front bolts have rubber caps. The previous owner may have cut these for lowering. As for the alignment, if you notice the car not tracking straight, definitely get it done. However, if the car tracks right, keep an eye on the tire wear. Maybe you don't need an alignment.

You definately need a realignment, front and rear.

if you only watch tirewear it will be too late to react.

Consider the relatively low cost of an alignment to the cost of replacing tires. I would personally get the alignment done for peace of mind.
