Removing BSM Tip
Just finished removing body side moulding and wanted to pass along what helped me. Obviously heat and fishing line will get them off but the glue/tape can be a pain. I used professional Goof Off spray. Not happy about spraying solvent on my paint but you could mask off or soak a rag. Scraping, even with plastic is no good and will nick the finish. Discovered that if you let the glue sit with the solvent for a few minutes and the surrounding surface dry, it gums up and you can actually roll it off with your fingers. It will take some pressure but it is so much faster than other methods I tried. You’ll have to clean and rewax the panels but you were going to do that anyway. Way easier job than I was anticipating.
