My new to me 01 Z06 on occasion has the drivers side window bind when going down. I removed the door panel and the mechanism seems to work ok, but I can see the little pulley towards the top and rear of the door causing the bind. I have attempted to tighten the retaining nut that holds it to the inner door panel, and that seemed to work for a short time, it’s not loose, but today it bound up again and the only way to get it to work is to go up and down a few times to finally get the window moving. The first time this happened I had to physically ‘help’ the window by grabbing it. The motor works fine...

its very common issue. Pick up a new ac delco regulator and motor on amazon. They’re about $150. Some people go with the super cheap eBay option. It’s your call.
