Looking for recommendations for repair of heat and air display. Not just dim, does not work at all. Anyone have theirs worked on and pleased with work and price?
I pulled the module and soldered all according to the directions, but it did not change. Pulled and did it again to see if I missed any. Again did not work. I don't know if I mentioned this is on a c5. I don't know if there is any other simple thing to check.
it looks like the display works in the last picture are you saying the Blower does not work? Does the blower speed show in the display?
have you checked the DIC codes?
Do you get no response at all? Tried pressing the 'Auto' button? If you press the defrost buttons do both stay dark? A/C light doesn't flash and then go out on start up? Wondering if there isn't a bigger issue outside the control unit, although it could also be a combination of issues. If you press the 'up' fan button several times the fan motor should audibly spin up, but you may not get any air flow if there is a vacuum source problem. Dead blend door actuators keep the temperature from varying if the vacuum valves do work. Dark display is one thing, dead should be something else.
