im trying to replace the bearings in my torque tube ive spent hours upon hours searching and reading all the posts I can find about the process seems pretty easy and straight forward and so far haven't had any issues. Not even with the snap ring everyone seems to dread. the thing I cannot figure out and nobody talks about is the torque specs of the big nut on the rear bearing housing. can anybody help me out here on the torque specs of the nut in this picture, also has anybody drilled and tapped the coupler bolts from 10 mm to 12mm? how did that work out for you? I plan on getting the carbon fiber driveshaft from dss. and just curious if anybody has done this. And while im at it has anybody used the nachi quest bearings or is everybody running the nsk bearings? and does anybody have the part numbers for any of the bearings. I had a thread saved with the numbers but cant seem to find it, if not ill just look at the side of the bearings when I get them out and see what the part numbers are, Thanks

If you don't have answers by tomorrow morning I will get you what you need. I did my 99 last year at this time. I stayed with the 10mm though and have had no issues. I'm running double the HP than stock.
