Throwing PO172,75 codes on my 02z passed smog but not visual check because of blackwing intake, took it home and put stock unit back on , passed .,when I had about 30 miles on it check engine came on with lean codes,,question is had car tuned by performance dyno on dyno jet after mods bolted on just intake & exhaust. Can I expect clearing codes once I switch back to blackwing ,is it tuned to run correctly with one intake ?????? Car has 39000 miles thanks

P0172/0175 are RICH codes !!...probably resulting from having the free flowing Blackwing and going back to the more restrictive stock air cleaner...the PCM will normally adjust to the new airflow !!

Rich codes, I'm getting old !!!!, would like to go back to blackwing,,, should I just clear codes if they pop up again and drive until adjustment takes place,, thanks for your input,,,,

C5 owners...OLD ???...LOL !!...If you had it "tuned" with the Blackwing like I had mentioned the PCM will adjust itself to the new airflow...when I installed my Blackwing it didn't throw any DTC's !!....yes, clear the codes and if it comes back it might just take a little longer !!...good luck youngster !!
