Ever since I did my driver side window regulator replacement, I have some air filtration at high speeds through the top portion of the window seal. At first I had some on the rear edge of the window, but after some slight adjustment to the glass position, I took care of the filtration coming from the back, but I'm still getting a tiny bit of air cracking through the top edge. I figure I need to now adjust the max height of the regulator carts. Has anyone done this? I'm thinking it's easy but just wanted someone to confirm if they've done this adjustment on an AC Delco window regulator. Thanks.
Search to forum on how to do this, there are several good write-ups with pictures. There are about six adjustments screws (fwd-back, up-down, and a tip in-out). It is a trial and error process. After each adjustment, take the car on the road and check for wind noise. When you are finally done, do a leak check with a garden hose.
Adjustment depends if you think the window is too low OR the tilt of the window is off. The latter is the easy adjustment - adjustment behind reflector and behind rubber seal on bottom of door jam. The former is more difficult - need to take door panel off and most likely speaker out.

I think window is just slightly low, needing more compression on the top edge of the window against the seal. At least that's what it SOUNDS LIKE, like it comes from the top edge. Seals fine against water and against winds below 70mph. Anything above that, air starts to leak. I'll admit I was lazy to search the forum on this one first. I'll run a search for previous write-ups on this adjustment. The air hiss just annoys me.

I fought wind noise for a long time after replacing a regulator. Even took it to a dealer to no avail. Those adjustment screws didn't work for me at all.
I finally fixed it by buying a 4" suction cup at Harbor Freight. Here's how:
I removed the door panel and loosened the 2 bolts holding the glass in. Just enough to where I could move the glass without the glass falling.
I then slowly closed the door and put the suction cup on the glass outside the car.
I moved the glass to where it needed to go using the suction cup. I really inspected it to make sure it was right.
I opened the door and tightened the 2 bolts and reinstalled the panel..
It worked! Been sealed now for about a year and a half!
Good luck!
