I have done some research here, and have not found what I am looking for.
My issues are as follows;
1) Air rushing in at highway speeds in the center, between the Targa, and the top of the windshield brace. When you get out, you can actually push it down a little, so that it is lower than the seal that is mounted to the windshield brace.
2) The driver and passenger windows will not go behind the tab that is supposed to hold them in place while driving at moderate speeds. The tab is the one that is mounted to the Targa top.
I understand there is a need to adjust the windows possibly up and in more. But, what is too much. I adjusted the height so that when the door shuts, it just clears the tab. The problem is if you lower the window while driving, and raise it up, it will not go back under the tab.
So, guru's, where do I start, and how do I fix these issues?
I have adjusted tilt and height a little, don't know what is too much...
Post some pics. I’m struggling to see how the window would be outside of the targa when it’s rolled up. Sounds like there is much more of a serious issue going on.
I'll get some a little later, I just re adjusted the windows and locked them down. I was in the middle of putting in aftermarket speakers in when I posted, had my son sit inside while I adjusted, and looked at the windows from outside. The roof is still a major issue. The driver side seems to lock down well, the middle and passenger side ate ankle to be pushed up and you can see daylight. It would seem that side needs to be adjusted, any idea on how?

Not really sure I understand those sentences. Ate ankle? Middle and passenger side? What needs adjustment? Please post some pics for people to help.
You have two latches on the front of the targa top. Sounds like they need adjustment or replacement. Very common problem.
Got it figured out, I went to adjust the striker plate, and noticed that the outer shell of the roof has separated from the frame. Should be easy fix, what adhesive do I use? Thank you for all the help as well.
I need to adjust my windows as well because of the annoying wind noise when driving with the windows up. How did you adjust yours? Does it require removing the door panels?

I don't have the shop manuals yet, the way I did it was remove the door panels. On the driver side, there is an access hole on the upper left side, opposite on passenger side. With the window about 3/4 the way up, you will see the adjustment screw. It is mounted vertically, with the head pointed to the ground. You will need a reverse torx bit, I do not recall the size, I am guessing between 35-45.
To make the window go up, you need to unscrew this bolt. Make small adjustments, and check the new height after each adjustment. Try one counter clockwise revolution at a time until you have the height you want. It only took two full turns for my driver side.
Now that I have the windows where I need them, and the roof fixed, I have a very small trace of wind noise, I would think just about what it was when it w new. I did a test hit at 120mph, the car is so quiet now.
