Need some help on where the o2 sensor should be installed? Replace the 2 o2 manifold sensors and wire it up to those ? Drill a separate hole on the manifold? Hooked up to the exhaust tip are? I would like to read both sides! Can that be done through one gauge. I have a clamp on style o2 bung mount from glow shift. What size hole would you all think I need to drill?
I have Kooks X pipe and it has a bung on the passenger side bank.. I just put it there. If you want to do 2 widebands, you could use the rear O2 bungs...that's a little far downstream, but is a nice convenient option. IDK the thread/pitch, but they sell O2 bungs, it's a common size.
It’s just splicing into the o2 and running it to the main meter line at that point then I assume? Thanks I will try and use the rear ports and order 1 more clamp on o2 bung. I just have the stock manifolds.

you do not splice the wideband into the existing o2 wires... I'm not familiar with the aem but they are all basically the same, the wideband sensor will plug into your gauge and then you need to find a 12v switched power and a good ground to power the unit when the car is turned on

did it not come with a harness??... if it was bought new it should have came with everything needed to install... the dlg-1 is an innovate gauge, completely different from the aem that you have so the harness won't work with your aem gauge if that's what you're asking

I like to read both sides of the exhaust. Through one gauge. If I can get the aem to do it and get the wiring right. Or does a 2 channel controller need to be added.

oh you said harness so I thought you were trying to make the innovate harness work with your aem gauge which it won't, you would probably have to get another aem gauge to do that or get the innovate... I have 2 innovate gauges, an ecf-1 and psb-1 so I can monitor both banks as well as a bunch of other stuff... they did a good job at getting a lot built into one gauge and aside from having one sensor fail prematurely they have worked pretty well for me
Ok so got this unit installed however I called aem to ask them why the channel disappears? I guess I need a 0-5v module something that gets wired into the hpt! Does any one know what this is or where I can find it.

I'm not sure about the new hptuners mpvi but the older one I have has a plug that goes into the side of the mpvi, this is the inputs for your gauges and whatnot... the gauge should have a single output wire which you insert into the plug that goes into the mpvi... once that is done you will have to add and configure the gauge in the scanner according to which slot you used in the plug
Theres a side port on the MPVI2 the tech mention the something about a analog module being spliced in to get to read because the pcm is old it’s the 334 was for 2008-current. The only loose wires I had I ran over to the radio unit for power and ground rest all go to a harness on the back of the gauge! Maybe I need this?
This is what I’m working with!
