Default TPMS sensor oddity

Replaced my C5''s 5 spoke chrome rims with C6 rims and tires that had the C6 TPMS sensors installed. I expected that I would get a warning message from the system. Well that's not what happened. The pressures on the DIC read 31, 32, 32 and 37 psi. Before I swapped the rims all were reading around 32. I didn't expect it to read anything. I added air to the tires and a couple of the readings changed by -1 pound. Anyone know what's going on.

I installed a set of Schrader 28006's on my '98 when I replaced the tires. The front tires read 31/32 and the rear tires read 37 on the DIC. Actual pressure is maintained at 30 psig on all four wheels. Have no idea as to the disparity. I just roll with it.
