I have an '02Z with 20k miles. Yeah, I know. OK first off, it's heavily modified car that's never been raced, or even driven real hard. It's got a RPS twin clutch, and Tick MC. I recently changed the MC to a smaller aperature one to ease the clutch engagement, which was like a light switch before. Now I get a weird thump that sounds like something hitting the floor underneath the left side, right behind the driver seat area. I had it in the air to check, and found nothing loose or anything obvious. The noise is not frequent, and seems to only happen at very low speeds, when going in or out of my gravel driveway. (it's not too smooth) Any suggestions?

My first thought would be exhaust banging against the underside of the car. It's the most mobile thing down there. Can also be a real bitch to diagnose.

My thoughts as well, but the entire exhaust system is tight as a tick. It may be that something in the mid-pipe area touches the body when it's flexed while traversing my uneven driveway. My first thoughts were the problems were in my torque tube, like the dreaded connectors were shredding, but the noise is defiantly (sorry; too much time in OT) off to the left of the driver, and never center or right side. My exhaust system (original LG pros) is very close in some spots.
