Any potential issues with changing the brand of diff fluid?
I had a diff leak fixed a while back and assumed the shop would use oem fluid. Turns out they put in royal purple without telling me. I’m way over due for changing out that fluid. Are there any potential issues changing back to oem ac delco oil? Generally, I don’t like to change fluid brands especially when it’s the diff. I have no leaks now and want to keep it that way. If I switch back to ac delco will that cause any leak issues with the seals? Thanks.

i do not like royal purple, go to mobil 1 as the others have said.
used royal purple in my racecar diff and it burnt up in 100 laps, cheaper quaker syn didnt even burn up in same conditions. just my experience though

These cars are fairly well known to occasionally work better with one fluid than another, per owner preferences. People tend to switch around until they find a fluid setup they like and stick with it. I've been lucky enough to not see much difference between a couple fluids and I've just standardized on amsoil stuff, but any reputable fluid can work for you.
