I installed LTs a couple months ago and they melted a hole through my AC line coming from the dryer, and I just now got around to replacing the line and recharging the system.
Everything went fine until I actually started to recharge the system. I got about a can of refrigerant in and then it sunddenly started spraying out where the line meets the compressor. The line I got was a replacement from rockauto and came with O-rings to seal against the compressor, but obviously something is wrong as they can’t hold enough pressure for the system.
You didn't by chance happen to leave the old o-ring on the compressor did you?Just a thought, not being a smarta**!
I checked that lol. I did some digging and found another thread that listed a part number for the OEM seals and I went and bought them from the dealership and put them on, removing the o-rings that came with the aftermarket line. Pulling a vacuum on the system now and hopefully it’ll hold pressure.
