Need some advise-
I purchased a CD changer on ebay- but I'm not sure it is the right model number for use in a C5. This is a Delco 16199553 CDX-M12zg. I have seen Pioneer GM changers, and other GM changers that look the same- but have a different model number. Auction stated it was new in the box (it was) and would work in corvette, but it was made pre C5, in 1994. Looks like the connection on the back is the same, but it is mounted on the side of something that extends from the back of the changer, not directly on the back. Any idea if this one will work?
The model number is right, they made two versions as far as the connection for the cable to plug into, one straight out the back and the other has a panel turned 90 degrees and plugs into sideways. i have both versions from a 96 caddilac Seville and a 98 Corvette, either one will work in both cars. :)
