Hello all. I have an 03z with 17,500 Miles. The front tires are worn out on the inside which Is normal for these cars. I’m having the tires replaced and the car aligned. My question is, should I have it aligned to z06 specs or standard c5 specs? I just use the car as a cruiser and never track or race. If it have it aligned to standard c5 specs will it reduce the darting or tramlining? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
The closer you are to having a "vertical" tire, the less tire wear you'll see. Unfortunately, the result of this is less responsive steering and impacted overall performance handling. If you plan to only drive the car on the street, strictly as a cruiser, I would set the alignment towards the less aggressive side. I do all of my own alignments for track and street use. If I know I'll be driving on the street for quite a while and don't want to eat tires like crazy, I typically shoot for -1/2 to -1 degree of camber, -1/16" of toe, and somewhere between 7 to 8 degrees of caster.
For the track, I typically do -2 to -3 degrees of camber, -1/16" toe, and 8 to 10 degrees of caster.
All of the above specs I am referring to front end alignment only

PFADT had a list of alignment specs for each type of driving style. Try Google to find the PDF file. I used to street spec and am happy with the results as I do mostly expressway driving.
A good alignment will eliminate your darting, unless you have some other issue(s). Make sure your ball joints, tie rods, hubs and bushings are all in good condition. Good tires are also important.
If you don't track your car, do you like to drive aggressively on the street like maxing out your adhesion when taking on ramps and your favorite curvy road? If you do, then move more toward the ZO6 specs.
If you drive really easy around corners, then more toward the C5. I'd go no more than 1/16" tow-out for the front and 1/16" for tow-in for the rears.
Rake between the front and rear should be around 1/8" to 1/4" for better downforce stability.
