Default Catch Can correct install

Installed a Elite Engineering catch can on my 2004 Z but I can't figure out where the valve cover hose should route...

Here is the diagram from EE showing to route the #8 valve cover hose to the air bridge, but is that between the TB and MAF because the MAF is not shown and I have mine relocated to directly in-front of the TB.

Here is a picture of my setup, notice there is no line #8 yet (coming from the passenger valve cover)

Is your engine an LS2? The instructions say line #8 is on LS2 engines.

The note says: "Hose #8 Connects to Air Intake Bridge Instead of Throttle Body on LS2 Engines"
But thanks for the pic of your setup.

I do not have an LS2 engine - I do have the LS2 throttle body however which is why I cannot connect the hose to the throttle body. I am guessing I should connect it between the throttle body and the MAF so that the air is not metered but want to confirm and also see how others have done this with a relocated MAF (so little room between the throttle body and the MAF now).

I think I see what your saying now, maybe, lol. The PCV system does use metered air since it's after the MAF, so to work properly you'd have to somehow install a line between the MAF and TB which is tight. Do you have to pass any sort of emission testing? If not you could just run a short hose from the valve cover to a small breather/filter. I've done this on several LT1's without any problems, but always had to connect the valve cover hose to the TB when doing emission testing.
