Recently I had a shop replace my stock clutch with a new LS7 clutch and steel flywheel. The pilot bearing, slave cylinder and throw out bearing were also replaced. The torque tube was rebuilt with OEM bearings and couplers. The transmission was rebuilt including all new bearings, input shaft and cluster gears. The differential had new C6Z clutch packs installed. A remote bleeder was added to the slave cylinder. The engine rear main seal and plate were replaced too. I already had a TMODCUSTOMS lower shifter box and a C6 upper shifter installed. The shop relocated the two flywheel weights from the original LS6 flywheel to the new LS7 flywheel. I have driven the car about 400 miles since this job was completed.
i am experiencing a buzzing rattling sound coming from the shifter at 3,000 rpm and above. It is in all gears and ONLY under a load. It does NOT do this in neutral with the car parked. Which leaves me to believe it is not engine or clutch related. I believe the noise is transmitting from the drive train and is not caused by the shifter itself. The tech says he marked the torque tube and reassembled it accordingly.
There's a little balancing washer bolted to the driveshaft if I remember correctly. Any chance that got lost? Kinda spitballing here since there should be no reason for it to be removed. Can you *feel* the vibration causing the sound?

I’ll ask the technician about the washer.
The vibration feel in the shifter is the same before it buzzes and while it is buzzing. It does not increase when it starts to buzz.
