Default Blinkers

My turn signals work intermittently. However when I press the hazards and then turn them off, the signals begin to operate as normal again. Any ideas?

You probably have to replace the hazard switch.....I put a new one in last year.....not an easy job but doable. There’s YouTube videos showing the procedure.

Based on your description I think the first order of business is to flush your blinker fluid.

When my signal lights failed I installed the hyperflash harness. Took 20 minutes.

Does this bypass having to replace the hazard switch as others have mentioned?

The only downside that I noticed is that when a turn signal bulb is burnt out, the the flasher light on the dash works normal instead of the rapid flashing like before. So just check your blinkers once in awhile.

Installed the hyperflash harness this evening and it works fine but blinkers do not flash any faster. Is this normal for having stock bulbs?

They should blink at same normal speed as before you installed harness.

So what is the hyperflash reference in the part name besides the fact it fixes the problem without having to replace the hazard switch causing my blinkers to fail. I don’t mind the normal operation, just curious.

The harness is to prevent hyperflash when aftermarket LED lights are installed. I guess they flash way too fast sometimes.

It's made for LED lights. The lower current draw of LEDs causes a stock flasher to flash fast like a bulb is out.

Ok, that makes sense, I just hope this definitely takes care of my hazard switch issues. Right now works just fine 👍👍👍.

Just noticed these 2 LED bulbs in my packaging. Where would these fit?
