Seems like you did the right move by removing the underhood fuse #2 (approach). Perhaps previous owner(s) made some change to this setup.

Maybe a good time to upgrade to switchback DRL's with some new housings? I swapped out my factory turn signal housings with some clear/black ones because the factory DRL bulbs actually melted the oem housing, probably because those lights are always on. The switchback bulbs being white look way better than the orange bulbs plus they run much cooler and switch to orange when signaling.

Don't know what you meant in your statement..." i pulled the number 2 fuse (22)" ????.....you pulled 2 or 22 ???....fuse #2 (approach lights) is the one you want to pull NOT fuse 22...fuse 22 is an injector fuse which powers the fuel injectors AND coil packs !!...no wonder it was running like crap...you were running on 4 cylinders !!

Does pulling fuse #2 disabled the turn signal function too or just the lights being on full time?

OP said he was running on 3 cylinders so you are probably on to something.

pulled that fuse and it worked just as you said however my goal was to run the foglights as DRLs but in order for that to work you have to turn on the parking lights which defeats the purpose if anyone can help me with that that would be great thank you in advance
